Biology:

Land Use:

What do we use land for and how does this relate to population explosion. Watch the first 44 seconds of this video to get an understanding of the lesson. The rest of the video, will be useful for coming weeks.

Completing the work on the school’s shared area, there is a PowerPoint and five or five tasks, at either a basic, intermediate or higher level, choose the level that is appropriate for you.

Chemistry:

We are now starting a new topic on Organic Chemistry; I have added a new key word glossary to the samples area. This week we are going to find out about the three types of fossil fuels and how they are formed. Work through the information in the PowerPoint, then carry out your own research and on the formation of fossil fuels to create a storyboard. I have included video 1 and video 2 to help you with your research as well as a fossil fuel fact file. Once you have completed your storyboard have a go at the quick quiz on the end of the PowerPoint.
