The exams set for the end of year 9 are very similar to the tests that are completed in class at the end of every topic. The main reason that we complete these in the main exam hall under full exam scrutiny and with external invigilators is to ensure that you are used to that situation. Some students need a little time to get used to this, so we give them practice in years 9 and 10 before the real ones start.

There is 1 science exam which lasts for 1 hour and 30 minutes. Students will receive 3 test papers, a biology, a chemistry and a physics paper. Each one is set to take 30 minutes so students must also manage their time carefully.
