GCSE Chemistry
Understanding the materials around us
Chemistry is the study of substances, their properties and the reactions that transform one substance into another. GCSE Chemistry helps explain the materials we use every day, from fuels and medicines to metals, plastics and the atmosphere.
Understanding chemistry allows us to explain how substances behave, develop useful new materials and consider how chemical processes affect the environment.
