Mid-Year exams

Year 9:

This examination marks the completion of the KS3 National Curriculum in science. The short exam will last for 60 minutes and contains approximately 20 minutes of Biology, 20 minutes of Chemistry and 20 minutes of Physics.

Year 10:

At this point in year 10, you will not have completed enough content from the GCSE topics to sit an entire GCSE paper. Students will sit a modified past paper in each subject that will last 1 hour and be approximately 60 marks (instead of 1 hour 15 minutes and 75 marks). The paper will cover the GCSE topics that you have covered so far since you started the GCSE work in year 9.
