Key Stage 3 Review

KS3 Review

Throughout their time with us, students are tested in class tests, during normal lessons and using specialist diagnostic online assessments which will give us a very clear picture of the areas in which students will benefit from intervention. This could be in the form of revisiting a topic, practicing certain skills (graphs, observation, description, calculation) or stretching and challenging students with more in-depth work to explore some big questions.

This is a crucial part of our curriculum and we strongly believe that we should not move from key stage 3 to key stage 4 until every child is ready. As a result of this, the time taken and details of what is to be taught will vary from year to year and from class to class.

At the end of this half term, all students will sit a formal Key-Stage 3 exam. This will mark the end of their Key-Stage 3 period of study.
